The family purchased 6 acres on an Oregon hillside with vistas over the valley to the west. The new home was sited with views and privacy in mind, and a modern but simple design created from the natural materials of Oregon, stone and Cedar. A nod to the local aircraft industry brings a contemporary note to details like the cable railing, cantilevers, and the central skylight that slices through the front to rear entries.
